Objective: Create a bold visual identity for a forensic art program on campus that incorporates the passion for drawing faces with strong branding that can be used for clothing, hats, drinkware, etc.
Strategy/Solution: Using the book Heads by Alex Kayser, I drew heads and faces based on photographs taken of people who are bald. The purpose of drawing someone without hair on their head is that it requires greater attention to detail of the overall shape of the skull without being able to use head hair to cover up any mistakes or distortions. I used various grades of graphite pencils for detail and shading. I hope someday to put enough practice in to be able to be a part of the forensic art community.
