Objective:
Use the process of translation on a kitchen gadget or appliance to create a graphic that will be used in
a poster. 

Strategy/Solution:
 I chose a tea kettle because I thought the shape would lend itself to translation well. The roundness of the bottom of the tea pot created a strong visual that draws the eye to the center of the design. The whisps of the steam added a whimsicle touch that gives the tea pot a sense of life. The colors were chosen to relate to the theme of green tea and the symbol of the leaves in the background were added to reinforce
that concept.
